Super Bowl Award

For me...
One of the most memorable aspects of this year's Super Bowl was Jennifer Hudson singing ,'The National Anthem.'
Jennifer Hudson had worked her way up from an unknown singer to winning an Academy Award for her performance in Dreamgirls. And then, she was sent to a level of despair that I wouldn't even want to imagine. After months of seclusion and mourning the deaths of three loved ones, she emerged at the Super Bowl to sing again in front of millions of people. I found it to be very courageous and God Bless her...she was amazing!!

I agree with you 100% I can't remember when I've heard the National Anthem sung so beautifully. It was a stunning rendition. What a performer!

I love her too...she is a star in my book, both on and off the stage. I watched dreamgirls again yesterday...love musicals and her part just touches me deep down inside!

Yes, she sure did sing beautifully. I'm glad to see she's a survivor.

I thought both women...Jennifer and Faith Hill sang beautifully.
The president should have chosen one of them to sing at the inaugural. Aretha was awful!

Hudson tore it up at the Super Bowl, almost to the point of stealing the show from the football players

Her rendition is on Itunes for download, with a portion of the proceeds going to a charity of her choice.
It's set up to help loved ones, who lost family members in murders (something obviously close to her heart)
= )
