Laughter
"I'm Old!!" That's what Flo [mom] will say at times, and then she adds,
"I'm an old bird!!"
These two Muppet Show Ol' Geezers were among my favorite characters watched every week years ago. What great entertainment that was! I can remember a skit where Fozzie Bear was playing the piano and answered a question in an unpredictable way. Jer and I burst into uncontrollable laughter that was so much fun. And the French chef was quite entertaining, too.

Some other comedies remembered fondly for the comedy...
The Bill Cosby Show
All in the Family
The Golden Girls
Cheers
The Bob Newhart Show[s]
And I have to add some shows that Jer and I loved to watch as he was growing up...

Laughter is ...my favorite thing.
Help spread some laughter every day.
This is your mission...should you choose to accept it.
And by all means, share some good ideas.

Oh, yes, those were good shows.
I don't laugh enough. I'll have to work on that.

great idea and while we're at it, add some smiles. I'm having a blast taking photos of my hubby with his texas relatives-never seen him smile so much....

Hmmm. My problem is that I don't watch TV that much. When I do, it is usually to watch shows that David likes to watch. He is a TV hog!!!

Ah...for the good ole days, when comedy shows were great! I loved Carol Burnett. The shows today just don't make me laugh like the ones you mentioned did!

Comedy has become so dark...or so ummmmm... naughty.
I've never been a fan of slapstick, but I did love Red Skelton and the Dean Martin Show, and for more modern fare... Frazier.
My husband makes me laugh almost every day. I have some extremely witty children who also make me laugh. Our family has never lacked for reasons to giggle. It's gotten us through some very uneasy and/or difficult times.

I also smile when I remember the Carol Burnett show; they were so talented. I'm waiting for it to be released on DVD so I can share it with my grandkids.
