Mare, Happy Easter to both of you too. It's a beautiful but windy day (and unseasonably cold) here...the forsythia and daffodils are preening in the sun. My thoughts go back to the time when I was in Auburn for Easter and was due to drive home the following Friday to attend a shower for Lee on Saturday. Do you recall there was a blizzard (my term) and I had to wait until Sunday to drive home thru tunnels of snow that as I recall were 10 feet high! Well, no snow this weekend, right? Enjoy your Easter. Love, LR
ha ha ha ha... loved it! Hope you and yours are enjoying one another this Happy Holiday. At the very least as much as we all enjoy you and your entertaining stories.
Linda Reeder can have my chocolate bunny. I want one of those decadent chocolate and caramel filled Easter eggs from See's or some other higher grade choclatier. However... thinking of good health and the lower level of pain forgoing chocolate will bring, I'll eat a yogurt with fresh strawberries and call it good. Sigh!!.. I'm fondly remembering the days when we could eat whatever we felt like eating without these crummy after effects.
Anyway, I digress.... again. Happy Ever After to you and all those you love. Thanks for the giggle.
Glinda is a leftie who is completely in her right mind. Her blog is intended to be a 'Flo'-ing series of musings, thoughts of the day, and life adventures that should make you smile.
Retired teacher...I enjoyed learning with the students.[5th grade- 18 years, 6th-2 years, 4th-4yrs, 3rd-3 yrs, 1st- 1 yr, Kdg- 2 yrs. I don't miss the stress or the paperwork! I miss interaction with learning and the kids' 'aha' moments. If you stop by, please leave a hello![in the form of a comment].
