Let the games begin!

Welcome to March Madness and the college basketball games that will prevail for several weeks. The dentist and I were chatting about it and he told me that he, too, loves to watch the drama. I have great memories of my son[ about 10 years old and then annually thereafter] taping the schedule to the living room wall. There are teams that have made the cut to be among the 64 teams for the first time. There has already been a first round upset! My thoughts: Go Syracuse!

And for the people who don't get into the NCAA Tournament, here are a couple of clip art funnies...well, I think so anyway!

  • Love the cartoons! Sorry to hear about the tooth and the Time Warner prob. It's so frustrating, I know, when TW says the earliest they can get to you is, oh, a week from next Sunday. Been there. Experienced that.

  • Yea, the U of Washington Huskies just won their first round!
And the new Major League Soccer team open their first season in an hour at Quest Field. Go Sounders FC!

  • I love the find "X" question. How much easier and more succinct to have written the question, "SOLVE for x."
As I write this, 3 seed Villanova is losing at halftime by 10 to the 14 seed...SU take note!!! Plus they play early...they have trouble being awake then.

  • I too loved the cartoons even though I only have the basic idea that March Madness is about basketball. Hang in there Mare...

  • Even here in Hawaii, lots of people are paying attention to all the games. My husband has his Illini t-shirt on today.
