A snapshot of the upcoming week.
Life can sometimes be a bit of an uphill battle.
I'm looking forward to Friday when all of the dreaded testing is done. This week is filled with dr. appts., bloodwork, and an outpatient procedure[Yuk!!]. Tuesday is Election Day, thankfully. [I am very tired of the entire election process that has been dragging on for a year and a half]. And I'll resume volunteering again...at a much slower pace [since limping is my gait of choice at the moment]. A couple of hours at hospital , a couple of hours at Meals on Wheels, and the next 2 Saturdays I'll be teachin
g another AARP Safe Driving Class. They are always an interesting adventure and I meet new people as well as hear some amazing stories!!! And there you have it!

Your picture makes me want to say, Oof! And your post leves me exclaiming, Wow! You say that you limp along... but, you certainly keep yourself moving!!
I'm with you...whatever happens Tuesday, I'll live with it. I'm not the Obama/Biden fan that most of you are. I see some major concerns looming...but, I'm not a real McCain/Palin fan, either. I am going to be SO HAPPY to have the rumors and bickering end! At lesast, I hope the darping will end. MSNBC is so lopsided in it's reporting and Fox News can be so contentious. (well... Shawn What's his name is exhausting to listen to, he just won't let go and move on... I'm sick of him) I hope things can settle into a more pleasant conversation after votes are in. And I hope we as a people will finally realize that the President does not make many of the decisions that have led us where we are...much of that lies in the lap of the Senate and the House of Congress. I'm not a Bush supporter, but, Let's give whoever set's his little self comfortably in the big leather chair of the Oval Office a fair break. Bush has taken the rap for many things that he really didn't have all that much to do with. I'd like to see us, as a nation, stand behind our President. If we can't at least show a willingness to stand behind him, to respect the office he holds... how can we expect other nations to do so?
Okay... this is me... stepping down from the soapbox.

I agree with caryn and I respect the office of the president even when clinton was doing his thing...I hope obama wins but will support and pray for which every side wins.

I'll be looking forward to more of your fun posts about the driving course. I think it is probably something all drivers over.....70 maybe should take. Maybe even drivers under 25 too. Heck, maybe all of us. I had a CDL for a while (so I could take my class on a couple of cool field trips). It required yearly defensive driving courses, but it's been a while. Yes, it was nuts. It finally sank in that I had plenty of responsibility for their well-being without driving the bus too.

I hope your results by Friday are as favorable as I hope the results will be today. Good luck to all of us. We will all need to work together to make the changes we need.

Oh..the testing is tiring..I have a bunch coming up too. It is so much easier to pretend you don't have health issues when you are taking tests or medication..neither of which is an option for me. I hope you get back to baseline soon Mare...
