Mother Nature: Return the birds!

If this is not what you see when you look out your living room window, then count your blessings!! Even the birds are hardly seen in this frigid weather. We do the dance of joy when one finally appears...
"Look! A bird! We have a bird sighting!"
Add a hot cup of cocoa and ommmm...how many days are there until spring?

I feel your pain. I'm buried, too, here in Ohio.

Bright and sunny in Hawaii. I feel only compassion for people who are snow bound. Can't be fun!

Fortunately birds put up with rain. Our little birdies have been very busy at the feeders and in the yard.

Awwww... Mare... I'm so very sorry. My daughter has been saying the same thing in Chicago. I remember when my mother would talk to me from Hawaii and say she was hot. And there I'd be sitting in my layers of clothing looking out at the snow that needed to be shoveled. And yet there is so much beauty in snow. AND there's spring... almost, almost around the corner. Think how happy you'll be.
