Well...it was a joyful reunion for Florence and Gracie. There were smiles, kisses, and bonding that had been missed for the 6 weeks that Mom was in the nursing home. Grace stretched out beside her all night long! There was a 3 AM dialogue where I was supposed to 'go check on him to make sure he[?] was alright' and when I said that 'all is well' , she told me...
Well, it's on your conscience!"
When we located her pocketbook and checked her wallet for money, she stated , "I'm destitute!"
Where does she get this stuff?
Mom is looking forward to getting her nails done, lipstick, and, "I need a haircut!!
And since there are times when she is total reality and other times she doesn't remember where she is...
Let the fun begin.

It makes me cry to think of, and to see them together.

Well, I suppose at 100, she earned the right to be in and out of reality. Perhaps it is very pleasant "there."

I've been absent lately from the blogging world, so I didn't know you had moved Flo to a nursing home. I do know how hard that must have been for you. It was for me when I went through it. She will be fine, though. And, your visits with her will be more precious and fun for you. Hope you are well.
