You have touched so many of us since we met you, Mare. You've had some heavy challenges, but you manage to persevere keeping a sense of humor. You set an example for all of us to try to emulate and we all love you for it. As you reflect, please accept my gratitude for having you in my life. I'll look for you in the new year. :-) Big hugs for Flo!
Glinda is a leftie who is completely in her right mind. Her blog is intended to be a 'Flo'-ing series of musings, thoughts of the day, and life adventures that should make you smile.
Retired teacher...I enjoyed learning with the students.[5th grade- 18 years, 6th-2 years, 4th-4yrs, 3rd-3 yrs, 1st- 1 yr, Kdg- 2 yrs. I don't miss the stress or the paperwork! I miss interaction with learning and the kids' 'aha' moments. If you stop by, please leave a hello![in the form of a comment].

# 1 for 4 weeks in 1968!!
Sittin' in the mornin' sun
I'll be sittin' when the evenin' come
Watching the ships roll in
And then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah
I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
Ooo, I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time
I left my home in Georgia
Headed for the 'Frisco bay
'Cause I've had nothing to live for
And look like nothin's gonna come my way
So I'm just gonna sit on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
Ooo, I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time
Look like nothing's gonna change
Everything still remains the same
I can't do what ten people tell me to do
So I guess I'll remain the same, yes
Sittin' here resting my bones
And this loneliness won't leave me alone
It's two thousand miles I roamed
Just to make this dock my home
Now, I'm just gonna sit at the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
Oooo-wee, sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time
XO
