Glinda is a leftie who is completely in her right mind. Her blog is intended to be a 'Flo'-ing series of musings, thoughts of the day, and life adventures that should make you smile.
Retired teacher...I enjoyed learning with the students.[5th grade- 18 years, 6th-2 years, 4th-4yrs, 3rd-3 yrs, 1st- 1 yr, Kdg- 2 yrs. I don't miss the stress or the paperwork! In honor of her birthday, an official request has been sent to Mr. Willard Scott of the Today show that he include her in his daily Smucker's birthday announcements. You are listed in the submission as the "please notify" person - so if you hear from the NBC producers, please let us all know so that we can tune in on the right date to see it (they may not announce the same day) and DVR the occasion (though Today makes no promises - apparently they have more applications than they can announce). Fun Fun!!
I also posted her picture on the Facebook Maxine page for fun and love from their creative team -- you can see it if you search FB for the Maxine page - she already has some "likes" for the resemblance!! ;-)

That is so awesome! I remember when my grandmother turned 100. It was a lifelong goal of hers, and a couple of weeks before her birthday she had to be hospitalized. She was so afraid she wouldn't live long enough, she stayed awake all night the night before. My sister stayed up with her. She made it though, and even a few months more. She was amazing. Congrats to Flo!
