One Day at a Time
I have been absent for a bit, and I need to get with it! So to my online friends, I appreciate you...especially the ones who leave a comment and sign in.What a gorgeous span of fall weather we are having!! I am loving the cooler temperatures and sunny days. Fall is my favorite season. The leaves are in the process of a brilliant and spectacular show.
My mom continues to amaze us with her resilience. In July, I thought she wouldn't be here in August because she kind of quit eating and slept a lot. I asked the nurses to call when she was awake and we would be there. Now, she is wide awake more often and entertaining us with her one-liners. Mom told me I was an angel, and a different time she said that I was a good girl. She told Nic that she was a pistol. Flo will be 102 years old on November 21st, and I think she has set a family record on that accomplishment! God bless her.Gracie continues to be a source of laughter and companionship. She lives up to her 'Amazing Grace' title every day.
I am on my way to the farmer's market to get some gladiolas and sunflowers. Find something to be glad about and pass it on.
