Going to reconnect with good friends and have some dinner at The Cheesecake Factory.
Going to spend some time with my favorite 'broadcaster' as he hosts a 'gala' and I get to eat, drink, and be gambling a bit.
Hopefully will get to see 'Lincoln' at the movies.
Mom is out of the hospital and getting some rehab in a facility that seems better than many that I have seen. Over the five year span that she has been a fellow lefty and New Yorker, we must be on Plan M by now.Onward we go.

Have fun, Mare! Cheesecake is always a great place to go to and your son will be thrilled to see you. I'm sure Flo will be working very hard while you're gone.

Does the photo mean she can have a dog there? At least to visit? That would make it a great place to me.
