I don't get it!!

I want the truth!!
I have had 2 people tell me that they were unable to leave a comment on my blog, and would I check my settings to see if that is where the problem originates. Yet, of the 6 comments from my last entry, 2 were anonymous and others were fellow bloggers. I don't get it!!

Anyone understand this scenario? I know that there are people who read my blog, and do not leave a comment...ever...or rarely...but these 2 people are friends who have left messages before, and were now unable to leave a comment.


Thoughts on this??

  • sometimes that happens when you have posted or are working on a post still and someone comes to comment on a new post but it's not available at the time because you are working on that. I've had that happen several times on my own posts and others.

  • I have had the same problem. I thought it might be my new template but since you're using the same one as I had, I'm not going to attempt Blogger's suggested 'fix'.

  • Mare, I found I cannot comment using OPEN ID, but I can using NAME/URL or ANONYMOUS.

    Just inform your readers about this discovery, should they ask.

  • I'm hearing the same thing, too. I've been trying to comment on people using Wordpress and it's been almost impossible. I don't know what's going on.
